I created Balancing Birth to offer a different kind of preparation - one that supports both your body and your mind. I’ll guide you with practical tools, gentle movement, and expert knowledge so you can feel calm, confident, and ready for birth.

How Hypnobirthing can transform your birth

Whether you're looking at ways to cope more easily in early labour, to have a more comfortable birth by discovering alternatives to medical pain relief, or if you will be having a birth with interventions, a home birth or anything in-between, and you want to learn tools to help you make informed decisions and feel in control, then this is the course for you!

You will get a full antenatal course to prepare you for what to expect from birth, but also receive all the benefits of hypnobirthing too! It is so much more than a traditional antenatal course.

Hypnobirthing is a great way to prepare as a team with your birth partner. With you birth coming away with a great toolkit of practical and evidence-based strategies to help you have a calm and easier birth.

How Body Balancing can give you a more comfortable pregnancy and an easier birth! 

Your body is designed to give birth, but you can significantly stack the odds in your favour for your birth to go smoothly, by training specifically for birth.

​

The pelvis gets a lot of attention when it comes to birth, but the reality is our whole body impacts birth. Posture, body alignment and daily movement patterns affect comfort in pregnancy, baby's position, and the ease with which baby can navigate their way through your pelvis. 

 

The great news is that there is a lot you can do to impact your body balance for birth. Adding intentional, targeted movement and exercise to your pregnancy routine will really stack to the odds in your favour for the birth you want.

 

Balancing Birth offers different services that make use of body balancing, also known as birth biomechanics, to help you bring more ease to your pregnancy and birth
